Privacy Policy

This policy covers this website and the Vision Android app by Kito Studio. In short: the Vision app processes everything on your phone, and this website only keeps the email you give us for the waitlist.

1. Website and waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• Your email address (required).
• Your phone brand and model, if you enter it.
• The page language and your country (estimated from the network, not your precise location).
• The source of your visit (e.g. a link from Instagram) and how far you scrolled before joining.
• When you joined.

We use this for one purpose: to tell you when Vision launches, and to understand how many people are interested and which phones we should test. We never sell, rent or share it, and we never use it for advertising.

We don’t store IP addresses. To prevent abuse, an IP address is turned into a one-way random code that changes every day and is deleted automatically. This website uses no cookies. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t track you across sites.

Data is stored with Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1), which also protects the form from bots with Cloudflare Turnstile. We keep it until Vision launches and the announcement is sent, and for no more than 12 months after that, unless you delete it sooner.

2. The Vision app

Vision asks for the following permissions, and all of them are processed on your phone:

• Accessibility service: to draw the pill above other apps and hide it in full-screen apps. Vision does not read your screen content, typing or passwords.
• Notification access: to show messages, music, calls and activities in the pill, and to send the replies you type.
• Approximate location (optional): for weather and prayer times.
• Calendar and steps (optional): for your Glance summary.
• Nearby Bluetooth devices (optional): to show your earbuds’ battery.

Your notifications, calendar, steps and settings are never sent to our servers. We don’t run servers for the app at all. Vision only goes online to fetch song lyrics (title and artist are sent to LRCLIB) and, if you turn it on, the weather (your approximate location is sent to Open-Meteo). Vision contains no ads, analytics or third-party trackers.

Vision Premium purchases are processed by Google Play. We never receive your card or payment details.

3. Your rights

You can ask for a copy, a correction or the deletion of your waitlist data at any time. The quickest way: remove your email here. For the app, uninstalling Vision deletes all of its data. These rights follow the GDPR and Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU 27/2022).

4. Children

The waitlist is not intended for children under 13.
